Rogue-Like 1.54a (a bit more fixed)
🕑 Added 2024-10-07 04:05:51 +0000 UTCFor anyone new around here, I need to repeat, do NOT rush to download this new version. Early builds tend to be very buggy and crash a lot, sometimes right out of the gate, so if you just want to play an enjoying little game, give it a little while to cook. This first release is more for people who enjoy finding and reporting bugs so that I can fix them. Hopefully I can work whatever issues there might be out within a few days or at most weeks, just wait for the all-clear.
If you do download it and get a bug, then please report it in this thread, or PM me if you prefer. If there is a crash there should be an error message, please copy-paste the contents of that message, as it is very useful for tracking down the cause of the problem. If there's just something you notice that seems "off," like a typo or some artwork that behaves oddly, just explain it as best you can. Exact wording is helpful on a typo, rather than just vaguely describing the phrase. It can also be helpful to keep a save near the bug, to check it for more information or to see if a fix solved it.
All that out of the way, what's new for 1.54?
- Missionary and 69 poses for Doreen.
- Halloween costumes for Betsy and Doreen.
- A change to where girls might be more forward in a conversation, if they are that far along in the relationship.
- A "sexy photo" addition to the flirt menu over the phone.
- A few optimizations to some checks that were intended to speed up scene changes, we'll see how that does.
New for 1.54a?
-fixed a bug involving when you catch a girl changing
-fixed some wardrobe issues.
-fixed an issue causing girls to leave the room but immediately show up again (hopefully)
-Made sure Doreen's 69 pose is available to select once first unlocked
-added Doreen's classroom seating image
-added tooltips to the "show feet" and "show tail" UI buttons to make clearer what they do
-Various other little tweaks and bug fixes.

Thanks. It was Rogue "in her underwear" which looked like her full black yoga outfit? I don't think anything was "visible" so it looked like she was wearing a towel over being fully clothed lol. I think Kitty did it once too but I can't remember what she was wearing Gwen's intro is only happening once per time block but she sometimes interrupts multiple "going to my room to meet someone" events each day until she gets out. I do like her intro but I enjoy keeping her waiting. I still miss her old intro though

Ok, I made a tweak to the changing situation to only apply a towel if some clothing is missing. I am curious in your scenario which girl it was and exactly what clothing did she have on. It should only throw on a towel when at least something is visible. They will get fully changed later though. Gwen's intro should only happen once per time block, at least. I'll see what I can do.

Sorry, fixed. Yeah, in this build it will happen any time you tell them to "leave it" during clean-up (or if they choose that themselves). I'll probably push a fix later today, depending on any different bug reports that show up.

I like the new change. MC: "You should just..." Her: "I'll clean this up." Portrays her indifference to what MC was about to suggest quite well ^_^ Funny contradiction with Emma's introduction. It ends with her leaving the room but then she's left standing in front of me. If I choose to take a class she says "I should probably sit this one out" lol

Got a couple oddities re: showers to report. First is that sometimes when I catch a girl partially undressed through the open door view, she'll grab a towel and wrap it around herself, even if she's already wearing all her clothes. Is that intended behavior? I feel like fixing her clothes would be more natural Second is something I noticed in a previous game but nailed down this version (and I begin a new game to test each version) that if you take a shower when multiple girls are queued up to enter, the second girl doesn't consistently get any stat changes. For instance, Rogue and Kitty were queued to enter when I began my shower. Rogue had already walked in on my shower once before but Kitty had not. When they both entered, Rogue was on the left, spoke first, and got a little bit of exhibition stats but Kitty got no changes despite both of them commenting along the lines of "I've got to stop walking in like this." But here's the bonus tip: if I changed which girl was focused from Rogue to Kitty before they entered, Kitty showed up on the left, Rogue still spoke first, but Kitty got full "first walk-in" stat changes and Rogue got none
