Looking at this game more I like to think a loompette or a small team is working independently in some basement of the station making this game and adding who they like into it as new characters

Or maybe this is they also get people to be sent to the station they find who plays it the most and give them a "congratulations you've won a free trip to the wacky candy fun factory"

Oh man, that’s such a great way to get more people suckered into the brand, however if that is his wife in the last panel, does that mean there probably a lot more transformations that the company either didn’t catch or cared about it? Or, since he’s a farmer, does he work for the company?
