Here's a thought. Whose funding those 3 cause we dont know what Brian does for a living for him to have all this free time investigating. Cory maybe has the cash from her wealthy family but her aunt is probably keeping tabs on her spending.

This whole situation is dark when you remember it’s a factory getting away with legalized kidnapping and then force feeding women into gargantuan sizes while transforming them into food people and harvesting them to feed to other women to keep the cycle going

I was thinking more like, an already fat woman discovered Wacky Candy and because she was already like 600 pounds, her growth and appetite becomes so extreme that she becomes an insatiable eating who almost eats several ladies and loompettes when she gets to the factory and transforms, she becomes so massive they have to keep her locked up because she went on a feeding frenzy and chomped on a bunch of transformed production ladies which only triggered more transformations and growth

Maybe they got 1 that has a specific mutation that reverses the candies effects like that kid in xmen last stand

There is a part of me that still wonders if there’s a secret area of the factory that’s for women who the transformation process didn’t go right or caused terrible side effects and they have to be kept away for one reason or another in The Bad Batch Sector
