What I really like is it introduces a new conflict- pursue the bliss Arnold has been searching for, or fulfill his obligations to his friends? Either choice has consequences & benefits, & he can’t just do both right now (given enough time, but that’s the issue) He should definitely talk to his friends about it, maybe even Durg’un

I like the chapter, and the new relationship he has with the scholar, but now I am wondering what the punishment for the kings daughter and Bishop are. Those feel like they could have new opportunities to make a better impression.
