I don't think he is copying how it cuts a human flesh. I assumed he is copying or creating the art of cutting flesh. Meaning, regardless of the type of flesh, it's the art of flesh coming apart from a cut. If not, the spell will work less or vary on other races. Thinking of it being something similar to Sukuna's Cleave but only focused on flesh. If your question is that the animation's body shouldn't be flesh, well I don't know exactly there.

I really like the Inertial Overload skill. Also I thought that the next skill evolution level would come at 150 but since his toughness crossed that and didn't evolve I guess it might be at around 200 or 250 for heroic tier skills normally. Is there a place where I can see which levels are for which tiers normally?

I am still a bit confused about how the lacerations are actually, well killing any of the entities. It doesnt even have a mortal shell anymore and exist across multiple dimensions. Shivs skill is based on a single simple cut to himself still, so not really sure why its effective. So feel like while I enjoy the fight, Shiv didnt quite tune biomancy, or psychomancy given he knows he can heal from such, or his unbending path to actually learn from thos foe when it kind of feels like he should. Mixed a bit with him not seeming to be able to track the given entities through their vitality or adapt himself to the stimuli they give, being a bit strange given both his nature and having psychometry himself. So some angles of the deaths seem surprisingly static given how the context of his deaths induces his changes

Meh. This chapter was hard to get through, the whole chronomancy angle is just an added layer of unchecked power creep in my opinion. Here's hoping we get back to something more enjoyable with the next volume.

I had archetypes planned for them. Not exactly rpg archetypes, weirdly. Shiv is basically a litrpg slasher villain build to some extent. He's heavy, hard to kill, weirdly fast, and pops up across bullshit distances for no obvious reason. Uva went from "hmm, psionic support" to "wait, what if eldritch, but more hitman?" Adam is a sniper that I'm pouring Total War game features into.

He got the Reflexes Common straight to Momentum Core Master at 50 iirc, most of his other Master skills evolved to Master at 100. It's not about rarity, it's about the level threshold, and I don't think skills can evolve to the same rarity, sidegrade makes no sense in this system unless it's a shattered skill?

Why did momentum core evolve? I thought level 100-200 was already Master. Similarly, why were the Master evolution rewards leveling the skill to 100? I thought that like acquiring a master skill at the level 50 evolution threshold, the skill would stay at a lower level.
