Asirel getting angry, Asirel scolding Pet, Asirel grabbing Pet's face 🥵🥵🥵. Yeah, I'll take 10 more of that 🧎‍♀️. I was really hoping Pet wouldn't do something outrageous and cause a scene, but I'm glad they did 🤭. Asirel clearly loves control, so it's very interesting to see how he reacts when he doesn't have it. Pet disobeying in public had me clutching my pearls, because they have to have some nerve to defy Asirel in PUBLIC where his reputation is on the line. Suffice to say, I loved every part of it. 🥰 But in all honesty, their dynamic is sooo fascinating. Both of them vying for dominance but Pet is always submitting in the end because Asirel always says the right thing. However, the thing is that despite Pet always pushing Asirel's buttons and testing their luck, he's very patient with them and let's them get away with quite a lot. Like how they refused to follow him and then bit him in PUBLIC. He could've shocked them right then and there to make a point. Granted, it would’ve drawn a lot of attention and made other people pity Pet instead of fear them, but what's the point of putting a shock collar on Pet to control them if you're not going to use it when they deny your control? Appearances mean everything to him, so I'm sure he didn't want to appear weak or like he can't control the bomb/secret weapon that he's parading around. Still, I feel like using the shock collar would've been a last resort, and given that Pet folds easily after being scolded and definitely after some praise, I can see why. I guess it kinda shows how much power he has and how in control he is to reign Pet in with words alone instead of resorting to the collar, an easier method of control. Now, whether this shows that he just wants to keep his appearances in check in public or that he's a modicum of a good person, I don't really know. His whole end goal still confuses me and I'm not 100% sure there's any altruism behind it. I'm fairly certain it has to do with mythics and maybe integrating them fully into society since he does seem to have a soft spot for them especially over humans, but there's gotta be something in it for him. However, if that's not his goal, then I'm fresh out of ideas. I do wonder what people thought about Pet biting Asirel. Did that solidify that Pet is a mythic to them or did they think Asriel brought an uncivilized random? Also, the fact that Pet was just casually walking around with a shock collar and no one bats an eye is pretty funny, because some could be thinking that Asirel doesn't have control of his little pet when they're off their leash, others might take it as proof that Pet is a mythic, and then some could be thinking that he's just into some pretty freaky shit 😂. I also found it funny how he calls his colleagues children when he's the youngest among them. He really has no respect for the elderly. 🤣 Something that did catch my attention was his interest in the west coast…Hmm, wonder if he's talking about the Vex/Wraith conflict. Then I was thinking that maybe he had a hand in that conflict in some way to further his own agenda. Or maybe he didn't, I have no idea. It's been a while since I familiarized myself with the gang conflict. The VA who voiced Lilian did an AMAZING job. Their accent is phenomenal. I also liked how you constructed Pet listening to everyone's voices. Love when you do these experimental bits 👏. However, it seems overstimulating to hear that many voices at one time. Don't know how Pet an Xanthus can stand it. Great audio once again, Saku, and what a treat to get Zaros and Asirel back to back! Enjoy the holidays! 🥳🥂
