As someone who has been in a car accident recently Ludwig’s reaction is frustrating. 1. Going about his day as if it’s normal should not be what he does. He has to take it slow and let his body heal. Yes he has responsibilities but he’s also privileged enough to have two PAs and a working staff that can cover some of the workload because you make your condition worse you’re not helping your health in the long run. 2. Not telling your friends about the accident is insane especially since you work close with them everyday. Aiden crash out is still valid because you’re pushing something that can be covered by both folks. Maybe they have an attendance requirement but I’m sure Aiden and Slime could figure out a good premium episode while Ludwig recovers and not inconvenience them with your unavailability when you should be taking rest of day off. Wishing Ludwig a speedy recovery and hope he takes it slow before hopping back on another Vespa.

I'm unsure if I've said anything about this yet, but I live in LA and work as a forensic engineer. I get paid to investigate and analyze traffic collisions (mostly). I've seen a significant number of collisions involving motorcycles/scooters that resulted in fatalities or significant injuries. In most cases, the injured party would have been okay in a vehicle with doors. Death isn't even the worst result you can have. Ludwig - I implore you to hang up your Vespa keys and stick to driving. Motorcycles, or really any 2-wheeled transportation, is incredibly dangerous. Not even just in LA, as I've seen really gruesome accidents all around the world from VERY experienced riders. Don't become another statistic - please.

I feel for Aiden, there is nothing quite like than getting "Englished" in the EU, it would happen pretty much constantly when I studied abroad in Germany. In western Germany and especially eastern Germany, a hint of American accent got you a near perfect English response.. ended up speaking English with most people there other than older people who never learned.

We learned in First Aid that AFTER encouraging the person to cough as hard as they can and AFTER bending them over a table and hitting them in the direction you want it to fly out on the higher back five times, waiting for the muscles to relax in between and not doing it rhythmically, and AFTER then holding them in front of your chest and hitting double hand fisted under the rip cage full swing another five times, waiting for the muscles to relax in-between again, AND they are by that point passed out because they couldn't breathe for too long, THEN you can lie them on their back, overstretch their neck, call an ambulance and start reanimation, including breathing into their mouth or nose (with the other one held close) twice between every thirty chest compressions. Even if you think it's stuck too much in there, pushing it further in by blowing might actually work and be helpful in that situation to get any air by and bridge the time before the ambulance arrives. Now, if someone is actively speaking to you, don't do that. Or anything. Go to a doctor. You don't want to cause someone to need reanimation if you don't already need to do that. That's bad. But there is A situation in which you could blow in their mouth when they've got something stuck in there and there is no medical or emergency personnel nearby. But if you speak, you breathe, and you want to keep it that way.
