I think they could clear up a lot of the Elias stuff by just making him an adopted/blood brother of the Queen/King and just chalk up Stonebeard’s comment about the prince having Elias’s blood as Stonebeard being an idiot. Elias’s body being in Moray still makes sense; he joined the Terradin and died during the war. IMO I think everyone really needs to keep better notes and the boys need to think/plan plot elements outside of the episode more. That’s a common thing even in home games.

Also I thought elias was a githyanke that came w stonebeard as royalty from a different planet, is that still correct or is it a different elias? Minor plot discrepincies nonetheless

Ya'll they obviously retconned some stuff regarding GJ since they ended up recording a solo episode with Slime that same day and the other episodes were recorded way back. I think now that the episodes are being recorded recently it'll be more likely they keep track of the details better. Also people complaining about the lack of progression of the story I don't think this is the podcast for you. I watch these primarily for the improv, RP, and jokes. And its apparent the boys would rather focus on making each other laugh than progressing in the story (which I personally think is fine since it's this show's strength). Only way I see them picking up progression is Dave hardcore pushing and railroading them, which I think would be detrimental to the product. I do think the pacing is an issue though and I think what does slows the overall pace is Dave not knowing exactly when to join in on or end a bit. I think the majority of the time he tries to interject or argue using a NPC, but sometimes it falls flat and bloats the bit. There are moments where he definitely sticks the landing, but sometimes I feel like the bit runs a bit too long rather than naturally coming to a conclusion so that they could move on to the next convo/plot point. I do think he's great as a DM since he is very accommodating to the boys, is cool with joking with them, and created an engaging world/story. I just wish he would let the bit die/ let the boys get a comment without him trying to cleverly retort. Here's hoping more frequent recordings will lead to fixing the details and building up that chemistry to strike up a balance on joking and letting a bit go. Side note, glad they changed how the aftershow works hearing "how the sausage is made" every time drove me insane.

I also have notes from rewatching episodes in short succession: I thought Elias was a prince from the Githyankee home planet and came with Stonebeard to repopulate/conquer Alexlon? When did he become the brother of the human monarchy? (Maybe brother in arms?) also, isn't his undead body in Mori, at the place that Princess Selenia turned into a Dahmpir? Last episode Dave called the capital Manva (Manvah?) so that should clear the name up. I also thought GJ was with Georg because Shozie and Georg didn't want her going on more missions but everyone else was encouraging GJ go on this mission? I thought they guys were NOT healed divinely by Horizon after the major battle in Leeko because Dave wanted it that way? Maybe it was just Selenia that wasn't healed/revived divinely so that death would mean something? Minor detail I (sort of) looked into and I think is funny: Dooyen wasn't mentioned anywhere I could find 😂😭 Overall: some holes and conflicting pieces but I think the story still turned out ok and works well. The episode (and all of DnD) is entertaining asf and I'm loving that this is even out and we get to watch. Actually makes me want to try out DnD

I want to compliment the DM again because he definitely deserves it: This is such a cool system of royalty and such a unique scenario! Creating different houses through a union and the king and queen going to war about the succession because they agree their child isn't a proper heir? So cool. Also very not sexist in the succession line or the powers of the queen or the princess, which I really appreciate.

I love this show, the jokes, the caracters, all of it. Whet I think bothers me is how much small and bigger stuff goes missing between the episedes - gold coins, the plague, thimble, GJ , news about the princess etc. I know that there's a lot of time between those episodes and it's not like you have videos ready to review before next recording, but maybe AI can make notes or something? I just feels like a lot of wasted potential for what is an excellent show to be a truly great one. And I would not be saying this if I did not cared about the show. You can get with more of those for me, I'll still watch it and have fun, but it hurts just a tad.

Roan explicitly told the group about his disease money gambling. Just leaving this here in case it helps as a reminder.
