i think 10/15$ would be fine, every nooby writer these days prices their story at 10$ per 1k so you should not have a problem getting commission since you are in the writing for quite a few years now and pepole know of you and your work's quality.

was told once I was a 'Steal' so you're definitely onto something here adn the only thing I saw that could work feasibly was Cambrian's style would be this, but not sure I'd charge that mch for a 10k story though, beho.ld 2 cents per word/2 dollars per 100 words/20 dollars per 1000 words/200 dollars per 10000 words

Yeah, I'm going to have to change prices for regulars once I clear up some of that list there. Although some of that pricing is ridiculous though Would five or ten dollars for 1k make more sense? would ppl accept 10 to 15 dollars for 1k with me?

Edo

to my (noob level) knowladge about pricing it usually goes like this: usually new writers start around 10$ per 1K word. later on prices can change, it mostly depends on writer personallity and niche fetishes. some of the highest i have seen writers take is around 60$ per 1K(which is expensive). if i had to "price" you i would go for somewhere between 10$-15$. seeing as you are most certainly not a nooby writer, but you also wont wanna go to high in price either. I will put a disclaimer again that i have no knowledge in marketing and pricing things so this is a VERY rough guess of what i would suggest. you should try and possibly consult with other writers, most of them are pretty open about talking about work and might ahve advice for you, either on pricing or pacing.

Have any ideas in mind for pricing? I'm in the dark here on what to go with?

What was the other thing you were going to recommend?

Azure Megacyber

Still kinda want to do 10 tbh, but everyone's been calling me out lately for taking on too much and causing months of delays, so maybe five works best after all. trade off a potential two-deek waiting period for a month long delay sounds prime to me. I suppose I should do a poll for Patreon's Five stories to be focued on during the two-week cycle, yes?

Edo

that is what most comission writers do these days, I would recommand it for you simply so you wont be pressured beyond what you can achieve in a given time frame. my advice is to start with a 5 commission for 2 weeks instead of 10 and if you find yourself out of commissions to work on make the amount you take next time larger, its better to start small and increase little by little instead of getting overwhelmed. also another thing i would recommnad(but would probabaly get roasted on by pepole) is to increase the cost of comissions, currently you are underpricing it by a lot compared to most other writers, even new ones. you should check market prices and adjust accordingly, that way you wont get flooded by underpayed requests and be able to work on fewer request while keeping a more managable income.

this idea of a 'Cycle'works best for me, limiting stories to only 10 per cycle (Which I'll make into a two-week period) and close things off until I'm done and reopen them. Thoughts?

Here is Herofizzer commission modal: https://nushara.com/fizzer/commission/ He also has a Patreon... and Fanbox... and SubscribeStar... and like 5 other sites he works on... you can get to them all from his HF profile: https://www.hentai-foundry.com/user/fizzer/profile hope this helps reduce your workload

I really wish you woudln't have analzyed the list that way. makes me feel lousy, but yeah I agree with you on n eeding a sustainable model to work with. Any of those guys have patreons I can follow an example from?

Edo

I agree, its way to much at once.

Lord Nishikienrai

At my count, on your to-do list, you have 23 stories from your Patreons, plus another 20 regular commissions. As much as I hate so say it. This is simply not sustainable. You need to seriously consider cutting down on the number of stories/commissions you accept at any one point. Perhaps look as an example look at other writers like Herofizzer or WattStalf to find a more sustainable.

Jesus man, you have a lot on your plate. Didn’t think they’d be this many stories you planning to work on. Glad to see my FNF story is up there. I am definitely surprised to see that someone commissioned a story involving real people. Either way, there are definitely stories up there that I’d like to see. Don’t forget to take care of yourself now.
