*Advanced Notice of Flash Slot II* in a bit
🕑 Added 2024-04-15 01:30:54 +0000 UTCReal talk for a second though, is this working for everyone else? I mean, I'm making faster headway and writing isn't easy as it is time-consuming, but I'm wondering if there is a better way to do this or not. I'm open to ideas.
Also, since people have been dropping me lately, I was wondering if maybe paying for a preserved Flash Slot is a good idea or not. Just spitballing here. If no one says anything I'm just going to go on ahead with these Flash Posts.

You can still do the flash idea, just make it instead be a flash pool where you put a few select options and you give 5 or 10 minutes for those in the Patreon to vote on

Maybe doing the slots a coupke of hours eqrlier or later? It's a bit annoying that the earliest the slits get posted is around 2-3 AM in my time zone

Honestly, on one hand these flash slots are really annoying, but on the other I really like them. On the negative side, it is frustrating waiting for you story to get it’s time, only to have to try and be here first. Especially since sometimes it feels like some people just refresh your page until it updates. There crazy how sometimes I immediately go to Patreon once you’re ready only to see 4 people already there. But there are two reasons why I really like the flash slots. First is that it feels like more gets done. Where as normally it’s you get your turn and hope enough work is done. Here it’s you get two hours and usually that’s enough for a preview which is good for everyone. The other reason is I like the engagement with you and everyone else. It’s nice seeing you post a lot with constant updates and it’s nice seeing people gather around. Most of the time it’s waiting a month or two before you post something than radio silence. In terms of reserved paid flash slots, it’s a risky business. It gets stories done faster since it’s focused, but it forces you to work on it since someone paid. Not to mention at that point it’s just commissioning with a different name. I feel like flash slots could be a constant, like a few months we do flash slots, then we go back to normal business for a few months and repeat. It’s just a idea. Sorry for the essay I sent but I had bunch of opinions on flash slots. Regardless, I’ll follow what you think is best.

A queue system maybe. Given how many ongoing story right now , you randomize them and story goes into a queue slot.

I think making it a 1 or 2 option where you give 10 or 15 minutes to vote before it is selected would work best

Scheduled cannot be done as my life is often unpredictable and I can't be 100 percent at a computer by the time the scheduled time happens, That's why I've done the Flash slot idea. in regard to that second one, how would I go choosign though?

A schedule slot can be a option. 1 or 2 selective story per day.
