More or less, yeah, I can't ever finish a story in one full go, not without having worked on it beforehand, a lot of stories are big in scope. Just hang in there, man, the Ereshkigal story is almost done. Chances are it'll be finished this weekend.

The winners just kinda reset every day I'm off when needing to write. I can do 3-4k in a single two-hour run, so stories can/will completed faster and plus its a random chance for anyone and everyone to have their story selected Fri-Sun. And working on the stories to a full finish might take too long since some ideas are too bloated for a single run to have been completed.
