Black screen when loading savegame?
If you load an old save game and your screen turns black, please go to the options menu and turn off "lighting effects". Then spend an hour (game time) either by walking to another map, or by some other means, and turn lighting effects back on.

Thanks Krag! Yeah, I've been meaning to do something about my page for a while, but I've been so busy with the game. It was just something I slapped together in a hurry, at the time. A quest log is also something I would like to add, but it's among a long list of todo things:-/......

Hello thanks for the new update, I just tried this game today for the first time and instantly became a patron. Your game has tons of great renders yet it has less patrons than other games with not even half the content. Honestly I think its because of the witch in the banner, she kept me away from trying the game for a while. Lastly, the biggest problem I had was knowing what to do next for example the spyglass quest. Maybe you could add a journal or quest log?

That rather large, non-functional house in the village was intended to become your house....haven't gotten round to it, though. Wanted to connect this to another character.
Found way to fix black screen, turn off lighting effect in options :)

when can we have an option to buy a house? Having to rent a place every evening is so bad. I am a peasant, not a serf.

Do you have to start a new game? Old saves result in black screen?
