Quest Balance?

I was wondering what you guys think about the duration of quests in the game. I'm usually a bit unsure as to how much weight I should put on quests opposed to scenes. Longer quests allow for more storytelling, but they can also take a long time to make, since they generally require a lot more script, maps, cutscenes and other assets. Usually I do one or more longer quests when I want to introduce a character, once the character is established i mostly switch to shorter, less story driven quests, to make time for more scenes. But I don't really know if that is what you, the players, want. What do you think of the current balance of quests vs scenes? Should I do longer quests and focus less on scenes, or vice versa?
Note that I'll be running the same poll on Subscribestar so the final result may vary a bit. I'll post the final result after the voting time has expired.

I don't know how to vote on this one, Tinkerer, so I went with balanced pretty well. I think some longer quests after doing side quests for the existing girls would go over pretty well, but overall I'm very happy with the way things are in the game.

I think you should also mention the main and side quests. The main story should be as detailed as possible. The side quests are a nice bonus, but the length isn't that important. As tinkerer mentioned, it makes sense to introduce new characters in detail.

That's a toughie. I like both, and am 97% happy with what you bring in the updates, usually 99% depending on which ladies we're doing.

I believe the scenes are the reward for completing the quests. It makes them more satisfactory, knowing I worked hard for them, rather than have them all served up on a platter to me for doing nothing.
