Snifferdog?

Some people on the Discord server suggested highlighting pickable items/ingredients, as a special ability for your dog. I found it to be a rather nice idea myself, but before I spend a bunch of time updating all those objects I want to be sure the majority of you would appreciate a feature like that. It basically works like this; if your doggy is in your party, all pickable items are highlighted by a light blueish border, as shown in the attached image. The image shows both highlighted and non-highlighted items.
What do you guys think? Yay or nay?

Maybe think up a few different variations. The idea itself is good, but I'm not sure I'm liking the color. Maybe a warmer, but more subdued color, like a soft glow.

Just recently became a Patreon myself here and I think many are underestimating the dog's usefulness in battle, though frail it still 'distracts' enemies if they have a swing at him/her giving you something of a "free shot" in battles. If they miss the dog then it gets even better cos then the dog can be able to do some damage to the enemy team making some enemies fall faster. Although simplistic in design I can attest to the Dog's effectiveness in most battles. I'm just looking forward to getting my Familiar back in my current run :)

Most items are easily noticed, but some maps can be harder to spot them. I went months before realizing there was honey in the map between the Merchant's Inn and Greyport. Also helps to remind players...I've left stuff behind and only realized I didn't get it when the weekly respawns happened. Will all items on a map highlight, or only when you get close(ish) to them?
