What do you like about SS? (SuperSoldier)
🕑 Added 2024-08-25 03:39:09 +0000 UTCAlright guys, I'm still writing the next chapter of Supersoldier, but I may have underestimated its length. It might even end up being two chapters in one (I still have a lot of editing to do, so I’m not sure if the length will increase or decrease).
But anyway, putting that aside, I'm doing this poll because while writing, a question came to mind: What do you enjoy most about this story? There are multiple votes allowed, so don't hesitate to vote for more than one option. You might be wondering what this poll is for.
Honestly, I don't know, haha! I just want to know what the people who support and follow my work enjoy.
Oh, and also to let you know that the chapter might take a bit longer to come out due to what I mentioned earlier. With that said, I hope you all have a great day/night/afternoon, depending on where you are. Love you guys ;D

Everything is simply almost to perfection. Can’t recall any problems or mistakes. I love it. Just in case though, please do not change any character’s gender like you did in Naruto. I recommend you just make new characters like Cassandra which I love. Thank you and keep it up bro

I just checked them all off, this fic is really a unique take on the time period and I’m excited to see it go on further. Disagree on Sluce of life as well just because there hasn’t been stretched out portions of time doesn’t mean there hasn’t been small moments of peace and friendship between characters

eh actually there has been a little although not too much since it is mixed with other things (I hope to bring a little more of it when the WW2 arc ends)

The only thing I'd argue against is Slice of Life, if only because there hasn't been any chapters dedicated for that kind of thing for Super Soldier yet.

I think it's like a combination of how everything actually chains together and effect each other, and how John has had an impact on the actual story and history of the world. Every important decision that a character makes, or has made, has had an impact on the world around them. John reincarnating into this world caused a Flashpoint adding his parents as Hydra scientists and Compound V, John showing up at Pym's exhibit caused him to make a mistake and gave Janet her powers before Antman was created, Raven seeking him out set her on a wildly different path than her counterparts in comics or movies, etc. I also really like that there's a great sense of humanity to everyone in that they are very serious when it requires it but, still know when it's time to loosen up. (Side note: I also think thus has some pretty great humor as well.)

I like the world building because you’re not just taking elements of the MCU but also adding aspects from the comics that I haven’t read. For me that keeps things fresh. But, I also like seeing how John’s character changes the world, I like to see the cause and effect along with all that entails. Another big draw for me is character’s interacting and seeing the formation of bonds as well as the evolution of the dynamic at play. Granted with more characters, it becomes increasingly more difficult to shine a spotlight on everyone’s relationship. Though I’ve been very appreciative of the little insights you provide in regards to getting into the other characters heads like the moments you’ve given to Xavier and his sister (whose name currently eludes me). There’s more I enjoy but this comment is long enough and I consider these to be the major draws for me personally.
