I'm still in the camp that Jackie Brown should be next. But I'm biased in that I not only don't like Reservoir Dogs, I actually would call it the one truly bad film Tarantino has made.
Phillyman!!
Agree definitely!!
Kenton Kruger
Yeah, I keep seeing other suggest the later stuff like Kill Bill, but I think it's better to watch Reservoir Dogs first. His films get more stylized as they go along, so watching RD after the others feels weird since it's far more grounded.
Phillyman!!
Reservoir Dogs Should be a must watch no question
Mark Sylvester
Office Space is a good choice. I to would like to see her reaction.
Keri Parmeter
I would love to see you react to Office Space. I haven't seen other reactors doing that one (though I haven't looked) but it's hilarious!
Cake eater
I've never seen it but watched the vid on youtube with Ashleigh. I guess I should at some point. The only Quentin Tarantino movies I have seen is Inglourious Basterds and Natural Born Killers.
Kevin Mowery
Vincent is in the can all the time because he's a heroin addict. Heroin causes constipation. My favorite Tarantino movies, whenever you get to them, are Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained.
Robert Reichle
I've seen this one 15 or 16 times, minimum.
Logan Kerlee
Very happy that you chose to watch this. :) I'll be watching your reaction sometime soon after I get through a couple seasons of Castlevania. :)
so, theres a movie called true romance, written by tarantino but directed by tony scott, and it has EVERYONE in it. its so so good and only one channel has reacted to it i believe.
David Crabtree
It lasted long enough. He had hit after hit from Pulp Fiction up to Battlefield Earth. He gave us some all-time 90s classics.
Jill Peterson
I dig Tarantino movies. There are problematic things, but I find them all fun to watch. Dusk Till Dawn is his, and it's one of the bloodiest movies...Holy Cow all the blood!!
Paul Johnson
And then "Battlefield Earth" reburied his career lol
Matt Gwinn
The standard theory about the briefcase is that Marcelus' soul is in there, and that the bandaid on the back of his neck is where his soul was removed. No one really knows though.
Opti_Frog
Didn't really last, though. But he's a scientologist so fuck him. 😆
Opti_Frog
I'm back and forth on where Pulp Fiction ranks among Tarantino's films, but right now i think it's second behind Reservoir Dogs, which have always been my favourite.
Jill Peterson
Great video! Thanks for all the fun.
Daniel Örtoft
John Travolta is awsomely cool in this movie and it was kind of a reeboot for his career.
Mark Sylvester
Does Ashleigh know that? And does she know Tarantino was Jimmy?
Tiger Chu
I guess the reason for all the references to Knoxville Tennessee is because Tarantino himself is from Knoxville Tennessee
Mark Sylvester
I had to get into Ashleigh's head for this one. Ashleigh's Pulp Fiction rules to live by #2-"You don't stop to toast Pop Tarts when gangsters are trying to kill you"
Kenton Kruger
Moment of clarity for me during this. Ashleigh makes some "uncomfortable" faces during some of the racial slurs, but doesn't even flinch at a lot of the even worse ones. Then it hit me; I think as a millennial a lot of them are so out of use she didn't recognize them as such.
Kenton Kruger
"Ewww, I don't like feet". "I'm going to watch a bunch of Tarantino movies!" Yeah, good luck with that; something's got to give....
Thomas Ivie
I first saw this several years after it came out and wasn't really impressed by all the hype surrounding it. But watching it again today with you Ashleigh I really enjoyed the movie. Maybe I wasn't ready then for his style of storytelling. And have to looked at what Tarantino looks like to see if you could spot him in the film?
T.J. Gengler
I'm kinda wondering just exactly what was in her glass. Something a wee bit stronger than the milkshake in the movie I'd wager.
Mark Sylvester
I always find editing Ashleigh hilarious.
Patrick Toscano
editing ashleigh cracked me up lol.
Mark Sylvester
Jackie Brown doesn't get the love that is should. It is one of Tarantino's best. Reservoir Dogs is still my favorite but all his early movies are joy rides! To me anyway I know they are not for everyone.
Brian Harris
Tarantino's filmography is a RIDE. You are going to hate some of it, love some of it, but you will never be bored. For me, Jackie Brown is his best, but this is a very, very close second.
Mark Sylvester
Ashleigh's Pulp Fiction rules to live by-"Don't snort unknown powders in other people jackets"
Nick of Time
Yes! Both parts as a double feature!
Gio Vidrio
Now that you know the pattern of Pulp Fiction you will definitely enjoy Trick R Treat during Hallobeans.
Tiger Chu
I hope you do Kill Bill soon
