Basically, like Krampus, Die Hard and Gremlins, this is one of those A Very Edgelord Christmas movies that high schoolers on the Internet brag to being fans of every year, because they want to make it look like their”parents’” holiday that they’ve outgrown, and said parents’ cruel sadistic lie of telling them there’s someone who brings them holiday cheer. (Leaving aside the ones that consider Nightmare Before Christmas a Halloween movie.) When the movie came out, you could have shown a blank screen with that title and poster, and most of those first in line barely even knew or cared that Billy Bob was a store Santa. 🙄

Great reaction...this movie wasn't really my cup of tea I find relentless nihilism is only funny in small doses lol...for Billy Bob at his best "Sling Blade" is definitely worth a look...Granny was played by Cloris Leachman who played Frau Blucher(cue the horses!) in "Young Frankenstein" and she, John Ritter and Bernie Mac are all sorely missed...Happy New Year and all the best to all of you in 2022!
