Filler episodes aren't bad. I always liked them myself because they often fleshed out things (characters, background details, etc.) and some of Buffy's best episodes would be considered "filler" episodes IMO.

I remember Ashleigh once replying to a comment about how with only one movie a month, it was going to take forever for her to get through the MCU. She replied something like "You see a problem, I see years of content".

I'm kinda glad that TV seasons have gotten shorter. With 24 episodes in a season, there was always a handful of filler episodes. With 10-12, a season-long story arc doesn't lose as much momentum.

True. I think younger people are used to streaming shows now that are 8-12 episodes per season, compared to a show like Buffy that was on the WB then CW and was 22 eps per season.
