Summer School! Omg thatâs a level of nostalgia for me that the others donât even reach. I watched it off a copied VHS from HBO or Cinemax that my grampa recorded so he could share with his non-cable having kids and grandkids (and himself when he got home from trucking on the road I bet).

Heaven Help Us (1985) with Andrew McCarthy, the guy from Weekend at Bernies, would have fit nicely into this poll. Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) with Mary Stuart Masterson from Fried Green Tomatoes. Brick (2005) would have been another interesting choice.
