Yes, that was Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi(Evil Dead 1, 2, Army of Darkness) was the director. And he was going full-on Raimi in this one with the camera work and creepy bits and pieces. Love it, Sam! love it, love it!

This movie was too weird for me. That said, it had its moments. Bruce Campbell was an Easter Egg, reprising the scenes in Army of Darkness where he was fighting himself. That was funny here. The problem (for me) with Marvel's Multiverse is that if everything is real, nothing is real. While Marvel came up with the Multiverse name, it's a "magic" version of the alternate universe, multi-dimension concept that has been around for a long time. Anyway, for me it is like riding a roller coaster. The kind that makes you throw up sooner or hopefully, later. No one wants explosive vomit during the ride.
