As a teen I remember being eager and excited about the possibilities of their storyline. We didnโt have a lot of representation or things to look up to then, and the fact that it was my favorite character was even better!

Charles! This episode was not rated PG-Kitty. You canโt disturb your momma when sheโs working! ๐ Such a great 2 parter and both ladies did well capturing each otherโs body language. I remember the light bulb going off watching this when it originally aired and finally recognizing that Willow and Tara were more than friends. That spell scene was such a sexual euphemism. But back in โ99-โ00, you didnโt see a lot of characters like that and they were limited on what you could show on network tv. I think I was also just a naive high school kid. Lol Loved the reaction! Big stretches and kisses to Charlie! ๐ป

Kudos to both actresses, they did an incredible job! This episode blew me away back in the day and it still continues to impress. You can see the emotions and thoughts behind the eyes. The small mannerisms, the way Faith โtalks with her handsโ, Buffyโs โhigh horseโ, the way the dialogue loops throughout the episode. So many reasons why this is one of my all time favorite episodes!!
