He's doing MUCH better - we were finally able to get him to eat some chicken minis yesterday morning then last night; I guess he couldn't stand it anymore and he started licking out of my bowl of White chicken chili! So we cut up another chicken breast and he ate it all.
I guess he just wanted to wait it out! Thank you for all the well wishes for our little guy. ❤️

I can see an argument for The Wish being "filler" (though I strongly disagree) but it's a great insight into exactly what Buffy brings to Sunnydale just by her presence/being THE Slayer and the broader impact on everybody. It's also the kind of episode (along with a certain... mid-late S3 episode that is my favorite of the entire series) that wouldn't exist in today's era of shortened seasons because it's precisely seen as "filler" by some, which robs us of some truly awesome creativity and storytelling.

The wish is not filler so much as a setup for character growth. Unlike other one, two punch two-parters, the buffy-verse is a slow burn. You might have to wait years/seasons for the return of a beloved character. Well, Buffy has that kind of love coming out of its ears. I feel the character that needed more growth was her Sss... there's the door. brb.
