Some of these choices are weed friendly/weed adjacent movies - kinda like when I watched 2001 Space Odyssey stoned and gave (per the majority of comments) excellent review and understanding of the film - I think you'll get it when you see the choices.

I’d love to know what your Patreon demographics are. How is “Cheech and Chong’s Still Smoking” in LAST PLACE on a 4/20 poll?!?? It’s literally the oldest movie on the list (1978) and only one that is COMPLETELY based on the subject matter! Who’s voting on these movies and what are they basing their decisions on??? OMG.. such a hard choice!!! Harold & Kumar is frickin hilarious.. but so is Super Troopers (as someone from that state, yes it's a facepalm, but hey, fair LOL). I had to go with Super Troopers though. I hope if you don't get to watch it this time, that you still watch it at some point.

You watched Cheech and Chong's first movie, Up in Smoke. If you're going to watch another, I would suggest their second movie, which is called "Cheech and Chong's Next Movie." "Still Smokin" is their fourth movie, and probably fourth best of the four.

I remember seeing Buckaroo Banzai in it's first run (Gru: Why are you so old?) My friends and I walked out of the cinema with big smiles on our faces going "What the hell did we just watch???" Repo Man isn't exactly a "stoner movie," but it is definitely a "midnight movie" sort of cult classic. It's a huge bundle of fun, and you certainly should watch it! Basically the same thing is true of Buckaroo Bonzai. I also agree with the comments above that you should add Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Reefer Madness to the 4/20 poll. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a book by and about the journalist Hunter S. Thompson, who had a reputation for his astounding, epic substance consumption. Reefer Madness was originally made as an anti-devil's lettuce movie in the 1930s, but it is so absurd that by the late 1960s the movie was being shown at midnight on college campuses. Intentionally or not, it was the original 4/20 movie.

Definitely BUCKAROO BANZAI. You don’t even need elevation for that one to be a serious trip. It’s just shy of being a cinematic LSD trip, in fact. Disappointed that FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS (1998) isn’t on this list, though. That deserves a definite slot on this 4/20 Elevation Watchlist.
