A “fop” back then was a man who was really obsessed with his clothes and his appearance. Usually overly so. And definitely his social standing. Also, a con-man or flim-flam man is what that phony tonic salesman was. Not a pyramid scheme at all.

(And I am still bitter that we'll never get the third part, because of the stupid fucking production company screwing people around with finances and logistics on the tour.)

Anthony Stewart Head was originally supposed to have a larger role and sing the Ballad of Sweeney Todd but I believe it all got cut for time. If you'd like to see Daddy Giles as a singing serial killer I suggest you watch Repo! the Genetic Opera
