I guess it comes down to preference, I personally don't see the charm in sleeperholds when it's just choking with arms. I feel like a desirable body part needs to be involved with breathplay, so the thigh smothering seems a lot hotter as a guy is slowly being suffocated to death by thighs rather than choked out by arms or a headscissor

It's a much more tight and kinetically focused way to asphyxiate someone with. Imo it exerting much more force from the aggressor is what makes it hot for me. Thigh smother is way too "loose", doesn't feel like a good way to actually manage to asphyxiate someone with. Foot smother even more so
