I loved seeing Beans spending all that time with you. My cat is now 19 and spends 95% of her time sleeping next to me, but until she was about 8 she spent much of her time to herself, so I know how you feel. It was fun seeing your reaction to Andrew. When he first showed up as a "guestage" at Buffy's house I thought of this Angel episode and really hoped that you'd warm up to him in time.

This is such a great episode: I just knew Ashleigh would lose her shit, when Andrew popped back up. After over 20 years, it’s still weird how much I came to love that little pipsqueak, after not really caring about him much at all when he was part of the “Trio” with Jonathan & Warren. He was always funny, in a pathetic way, but when he joined the group in the final season of Buffy, he became a firm favourite. One of my favourite bits in this episode, is when Angel catches himself saying “vampyres” in the dodgy way Andrew says it, & immediately corrects himself haha. I’m so glad they didn’t forget about the whole “activating every potential Slayer” storyline, from Buffy; it was a great reveal, & it deserved to be recognised in Angel, with an explanation as to why they haven’t encountered more activated Slayers in LA. Now we know it’s because of Giles reforming the Watchers Council, & tracking down all the new Slayers: it was a nice little nod to the ending of Buffy. There are some incredible episodes on the way, & I can’t wait for Ashleigh to get to them: it’s pretty much banger after banger from now on, & I am really looking forward to her reactions. I’ll just be devastated when the Angel watch alongs are finally over: I just love seeing new people discovering the amazingness that is the BuffyVerse haha.

I feel very special then because all my cat Emmett wants to do is be in my lap. LOL.. and I love him to pieces, but like all cats, sometimes he is TOO MUCH. ha ha! Love that Andrew came back for this episode. It's so fun. I also love that he's like, NO ONE in our camp trusts you anymore. They're all questioning being at W&H and now they know, so does everyone else!

This is another one of those episodes that really rewards people for watching both shows, and I love it. Not only do you get a dark interesting story, but you also get a taste of Sunnydale.

The Winter Olympics starts on the 7th of February: I imagine Ash will probably upload it on/around/after that date. I’ve been looking forward to it since Ashleigh first started watching John Candy films: I’m just glad the day is nearly here haha.
