Pyyer

Hi Georgios, I don't know why your original request wasn't in my (big) requests list but now it is! πŸ˜‰ I will give it a look during the winter break

Georgios Nes Papoulis

Hope you can give it a try now (on the updated version of the track) since there won't be any F1 races for the next months. I would really appreciate it πŸ™

Leonard Ampoe

Could you fix the sausages and update them to current or is that impossible?

Nikolai Wilding

Hi Pyyer, just a question, why didn't you use the CR Formula Monza instead ? It's a much better monza with better textures - updated kurbs and much more. Anyway great job and nice effort in this one

mh

I really enjoy the updates to all the tracks!

Pyyer

Doesn't work for me neither but I know what is causing the issue and that is something that causes lot of issues in every track and I definitely scratch my head with this: in monza.ini there are 3 lines with indexed conditions: [CONDITION_0], [CONDITION_1] and [CONDITION_2]) Basically, indexed stuff like shouldn't be used anymore and should be replace with [CONDITION_...] (that is the same for [MODEL_REPLACEMENT] for example and it causes a lot more of issues) So someone in charge of the base tracks config files should correct this use of index configuration (or CSP should then ignore them and interpret them as "..." ones)

bynar010

Track configs have always gone in extension\config\tracks\loaded if downloaded by content manager automatically. If you don't want your config to use it you need to use the IGNORE_OTHER_CONFIGS flag in your ext_config file as per https://github.com/ac-custom-shaders-patch/acc-extension-config/wiki/Tracks-%E2%80%93-General-options

Pyyer

Some trees shadows have remained mainly at Lesmo 1. It will be corrected in next update. Don't know exactly about the ghost trees outline

bynar010

Looked at this further, it is loading the config from tracks/loaded according to the CSP logs, and have further verified this by editing the file "live" and see the changes taking affect. But that ambulance lighting at the bottom of the file is not working correctly - can only assume its a bug with the CSP version I'm using (180p1) - maybe some conflict with your config as when use in a seperate ini file in your track it works fine

Pyyer

It should use the original CSP config file, but the one automatically downloaded by CM seems to go now in [extension\config\tracks\loaded] folder so if you have a monza.ini in the [extension\config\tracks] you should remove it. Personally to be sure I removed all the ini files at the root of this folder and check the Install automatically in the CSP settings / tracks config

mh

is it just me? I'm seeing outlines of some trees that have been removed, like tree ghosts... It's a shame all the damage they had there. Tx for the extension updates!

bynar010

Not sure I understand what you are saying here, but for clarity can you confirm if it should be using the original CSP config file in the 2023 layout or shouldn't be?

Pyyer

Yeah, you're absolutely right about that, just" tweaking a few things" is how it started for me πŸ˜…

Josep

Thx, I'm scared to start tweaking as I'm software developer and it may make me leaving my job and start AC infinite tweaking perpetual task, just kidding. I meant about textures yeah. Thanks for everything

Pyyer

CSP seems to have changed the way base files are loaded so that's why monza.ini, ext-config.ini inclusions are now set to 0. They should be downloaded and loaded directly from the [assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded] folder My recommendation is to go to the [assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks] folder and move all the files at the root level there (but not the folders) in a Backup folder

Pyyer

Regarding asphalt, it is possible to make it brighter and or darker without changing the textures by adjusting the parameter magicMult of the texture with an ext-config file

Pyyer

I don't know exactly why but it happens also with the original track. Probably have to find some better AI files... There is this one on RD but I didn't try it: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/monza-f1-2022-ai.41849/

bynar010

Ah, its because the original monza.ini isn't included anymore, I took the ambulance section from the bottom of the original config and added it to the track config and it works properly now.

bynar010

Whats going on with the ambulances in the 2023 layout? The flashing lighting works perfect in 2022 but in 2023 the whole vehicle is flashing!

Josep

Thanks a lot, you're doing a great job that helps turning AC better evey day. Muchas gracias tΓo; tengo una pequeΓ±a duda que supongo serΓ‘ complejo o inviable, es acerca de si te resulta posible modificar lo que es el asfalto en sΓ, visualmente me refiero, entiendo que los relieves y fΓsicas derivadas entran en otra liga. Keep on modding, cheers;

Phil Winstanley

Outstanding once again. Bravo

Tommy Lee

Thanks Pyyer!

Does anyone know why the AI keep slamming on the brakes on the main straight?

Thank You 😊

The Big Verge

agreed, the updated one is very nice

Absolutely loving these extensions - making an ageing title appear super up to date! Especially love the WEC stuff although do keep cranking these out please !!

Paul Devine

Great work πŸ‘ thank you 😊

Pyyer

Ah ah I am exactly the same: way more excited to work on the upcoming extensions than the season in general πŸ˜‚

Georgios Nes Papoulis

I really hope you can make it. Thanks 😊

Pyyer

Thanks! Regarding updated version, I will give it a look (just a question of time and schedule as always πŸ˜…)

Nathan Hulse

Is it weird that these days I am more excited for the Pyyer extension release during a GP weekend than the race itself?

Georgios Nes Papoulis

Looks amazing as always! Well done! I have a request though: Is it possible to also make the extension compatible with the updated 2022 version? https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/updated-monza-2022.61390/

Thomas V.

Hell, yeah just in time buddy!!!

Fred Schriks

Cheers Pyyer.
