2018 October Post 02 - Giant Tentacle Critter
🕑 Added 2018-10-05 23:08:48 +0000 UTC I spent soooo long doing the coloring and lighting and glisten on all those tentacles and boobs, but the end result works, I think. (though some editing may be needed, once I've spent some time away from it.)In fact, I like this so much, I will probably try to do a companion picture showing her human torso and the front two boobs.

I have added a closeup picture. Because I don't think that many people are excited about this one, plus it already having taken three days to draw, I decided to recycle an old face for it.

Tweaked the face a little. Somehow it looks much better on the tablet than it does on a regular monitor. Maybe it's the angle I'm viewing the tablet at that distorts it.

The reason it took so long is because there are so many tentacles. It's very quick and easy to do, in principle, but all in all the glisten effect alone took most of a day.

The colouring and shading on this is beautiful. Really gives the impression of wetness/sliminess to the character.

i love the piece overall, but man the womans body is so tiny, it just becomes pixel art when you try to take a look at her human torso.
