2022 June Post 01 - Dragonblood Sorceress
🕑 Added 2022-06-03 21:23:55 +0000 UTCThe last comic page really reminded me how much I still struggle with humans, so I decided to do something human-adjacent as practice. I decided to use a harpy sketch that I didn't quite like as a basis for this.
This is a dragonblood sorceress on a quest to maximize her dragon heritage and eventually become a full dragon. It's been an idea I've toyed with a lot without ever actually drawing it. I'll be drawing her dragon form too, of course.
(I've spent too much time staring at this picture, so it's gotten to the point where I can't spot sore thumbs. If I notice any I'll get back and edit it. If there's an edited version, I'll include that when I upload the dragon version.)
Also, while drawing this, I had the idea of a fantasy world where larger women are considered more attractive. It's a pretty open door of course, but somehow I had never toyed with the idea. In a fantasy world, where magical transformations happen, and probably magical augmentation too (in the form of permanent magical boosts to your stats), things can get pretty wacky, if larger equals more attractive... (I mean really, in my headcanon those mega huge jacked up dudes you see all the time are also magically augmented.)

Oh don't worry, they get plenty of snu snu so population isn't an issue. XD I'd say the males are just kept weak and serval rather than drained to death. I hadn't really thought of a mechanism for how it all works though. It's just a shallow idea for now.

Thanks! I think I've identified some minor nitpicks that will be addressed though... And that doesn't sound very sustainable, unless there are far more males than females. Maybe the females can drain energy from other things too?

Face is good on this one. Very pretty. I think you have improved on human faces. It's funny I've had a similar idea knocking around my head along with too many other ideas lol. Like some amazonian culture of Dragons where the females take the strength of the males to grow themselves.
