2025 January Post 08 - A custom 'mon, crocodragon head, rat queen prequel
🕑 Added 2025-01-31 20:59:41 +0000 UTCDoing some more on-paper practice. The crocodragon was drawn to practice scales (I won't be making a habit of this), the rat queen was to practice more subtle shading and fur texture.

Gonna be honest: not generally a big fan of pokemon, but that one looks amazing! The fire effects look great, even better with the whole two-tone design going on. Chonky, bottom bipedal dragons are also neat every now and then and that in-step capture of the pose that hints to soon-to-be-flattened city is the cherry on top. Fantastic piece there! Of course, also great detail on that Crocon, but I have to deduct points for the categorisation of the rat. Knowing your style, at that size she barely qualifies as a princess, much less a queen :P
