OK, if I’m reading this correctly, it sounds like you’re having some issues about distinguishing the characters once covered in goo. Perhaps you can show some of the physical characteristics or items the characters have on them be visible even under the goo. For example the chefs visor could still be visible or 💜🦊 ears being visible even when covered in goo. Also, if you want, you can do something similar to what trencalos did in his latest comic where he had one of the orcs hair still show even when covered in goo. Sorry if I misunderstood and I hope that helps.

Ok. I might now an artist I can recommend taking a look at that may be able to help you figure out how to make the scene look hot and interesting for you. Their name is trencalos, they are a furry artist that does a lot of merging and majin buu style absorption art. Maybe that can help
