🕑 Added 2020-11-22 11:13:28 +0000 UTCI'm back. This must be the best news of this week. Naturally, there is tons of work ahead of me but even that can't ruin my mood. Since I consider myself a little bit of a workaholic, I can't sit idle for a long time.
According to the poll's results, patrons chose to focus on the update over October and November bonus renders. Well, that's what I'm going to do. I can only hope that nothing will get in my way now, though everything's possible given the world's current situation.
We have written a script consisting of 9k words as of now. It's not that much, but this includes the complex event with quest elements. We've tried to make the game harder a few times by now, and every time we gave up on those ideas. Yet our persistence may pay off soon because I feel like we may make it work this time.
I consider it important to do what you are bad at because it’s the only way to grow. Many people disliked the movement system in Twists of My Life, and this is completely justified, but the experience of working with an open world allowed us to later create VC. At the start of Void’s Calling, many people disliked the RPG elements in the game, and I admit there are some problems with them. However, we are learning, this is only our second game. Everyone makes mistakes. That’s normal.
A few more words about text. Now, when the backbone is ready, it remains to only fill it with dialogue. Not everything depends on me, but I try to keep an eye on what my colleagues are doing and hurry them up when possible. Even the process of working with the prepared text has changed now. Way back when we worked on TOML, every text I wrote would go directly into the game because time was everything to us. Now that text is being double checked and rewritten most of the time. Anything to improve the quality of our final product.

Я вернулся. Это самая главная хорошая новость этой недели. И меня конечно же ждет производственный ад, но даже это не может испортить мое настроение. Будучи в душе немного трудоголиком, я не могу так долго сидеть без дела.
Согласно данного опроса, патроны решили отказаться от бонус арта за октябрь и ноябрь и предложили сосредоточится на обновлении. Чтоже, это я и сделаю. Очень надеюсь, что больше ничто не помешает, хотя в текущей ситуации в мире ожидать можно всякое.
На данный момент написан текст примерно на 9к слов. Это не так много, но в этот объем входит сложный для нас эвент с элементами квеста. Мы уже несколько раз пробовали усложнить геймплейную составляющую игры. И всякий раз пасовали и отказывались от данных идей. Но упорства нам не занимать, и в этот раз кажется у нас получилось реализовать задуманные идеи.
Я считаю важным делать то, что у тебя получается хуже, ведь только так можно расти. Многие ругали систему перемещения в Twists of my life, при чем совершенно обоснованно, однако опыт работы с открытым миром, позволил впоследствии создать VC. На старте Void’s calling многие ругали элементы РПГ в игре. И некоторые проблемы действительно проблемы есть. Но мы учимся, это всего лишь вторая наша игра. Проблемы и ошибки есть у всех. Это нормально.
Еще несколько слов о тексте. Сейчас, когда готова схема, остается лишь наполнение, которое делать несомненно проще. Это конечно не всегда зависит от меня, но я слежу за коллегами и стараюсь по мере возможности их подгонять. Да и процесс приемки готового текста изменился. Если в случае с TOML в обновление шел любой написанный текст, для нас на первом месте стояли сроки, то сейчас всё чаще тексты уходят на доработку. Все это направлено на повышение качества.
