Scarlet Law 0.3.6 - Early Access
🕑 Added 2023-01-03 02:20:55 +0000 UTCFeatures:
- 2 Side Scenes for Silvia
Known Issues:
- A lot of older code doesn't work for newer characters (e.g. gifting/working at Laureate)
- There is a bug when gifting parfaits where you gift magical flowers instead, even if you don't have any. I would advise that you NOT use this function.
Minor Changes:
- Acquiring money early in the game is much easier than before.
- A small note is now added on the lewd button/gallery screen.
- The maid outside of Evergarden Cafe no longer appears during the evening/night/midnight

"Open your mouth, dear~ Come on~! Say ahhh~!"
Good evening folks,
It's been a while since I last posted anything and I deeply apologize for it. I think the Holidays has left me a little depressed and I didn't feel like talking to anyone. That being said, I was able to get a lot of work done. My New Years resolution for the previous year was to reach 500 pledgers, and unfortunately, I wasn't even close to that number. This year, I want the same goal. I want to make SL one of the best games in its genre. But I will admit that my motivation for the project has dipped compared to how I was last year.
It was a terrible month for SL. We lost about $250 in revenue. I get that it's probably the holidays and folks are probably spending their hard-earned money on gifts instead of games but it's still depressing when you see such a huge loss. I'm hoping we can pick it up this month but we'll just have to see. I think the scenes that I worked on look very good, and I honestly think I'm getting better with renders/animations. I try my best to keep scenes as interesting as possible and I want a little story in each and every scene I make. I truly hope you enjoy what you see.
I swear, the game grows significantly for the month whenever I make an update for Estelle. Maybe it's not the same relationship as a roommate, but I'm hoping folks are looking forward to some ara~ ara~ action with their landlady. It does make me happy when I get to work with older characters. The game was never supposed to have stories for a lot of the girls, but I think I've grown very attached to each of them since I see them everyday.
I have a lot of plans still in the store for the game, still. I'm not completely out of ideas just yet. But I do feel like my motivation has tanked a lot, possibly due to the dip in finances or maybe the holidays. The game makes about $2,000/month which is a lot for some people around the world. But as an American living in a major city, over half of that goes into rent. And since my rent/bills/groceries are increasing at a rate higher than the growth of the game, I think you can understand that I'm a little disheartened when I tally up the yearly numbers for SL. It's just not enough to live around here and nowhere near close to where I want to be considered happy.
Thank you all for your support and I apologize for sounding moody. Every few months, you guys just hear me complain and moan about my mental state and I really do apologize for that. I think these posts act as a sort of diary for my sanity. It's pretty lonely working by yourself.

I was actually an idiot and re-download the last update. I fixed it by upping my pledge level and getting the better edition before realizing my derp. Oh well, I love the game, so it's only fair I pay a bit more for a month or 2.

The links should be fine but there's a typo where it says 3.5 and not 3.6. So if you downloaded it, you should be good! Also, when you boot the game, you should see the version on the bottom right during the title screen. Ty for bringing this up btw, and you're pledge.

Glad to see the update, but the download gave me 3.5 instead of 3.6. Did I screw something up?
