This was a fascinating experience, and I’m sure we’ll do it again in the future.

Since questions keep coming up, I’ll add them here as well:
Technically, sure, you can remake anything in a game—if you have infinite time and money! But in reality, every major rework is weighed against whether it will pay off, because only new releases bring in income, not rewrites. “Release → new subscribers → money.” Nobody pays for reworking old content—redesigns are just a money sink. It’s not just paying the programmer’s time; while we’re doing a rework, some supporters inevitably leave, because nobody rewards remakes—they just want new content. If we ever get paid for reworking things, we’ll do it gladly! As for this particular feature: it’s simply not supported by the engine. (Even the icons weren’t, but we managed to add them. But implementing tooltips or notifications proved way more difficult, so we decided not to waste resources on it.)

You should make it possible to change Emma's name, just like we can change the MMC's name.
Developer’s Response:
Technically, it’s certainly possible. But first, you’d need to design and implement a system to support grammatical cases in the Russian language—because a name’s ending has to change depending on the case. Let’s say we figure out how to do that and dedicate a workday to it.
Next, we’d have to review every single line of code where names are used. There are 35,000+ words in the game, with lots of names scattered throughout. Every place a name appears, you’d need to add a check (so the code can insert the custom name instead of the default one). This is tedious work, so it always takes longer than interesting tasks. Let’s assume a couple more days.
Done? Not quite. All translations would break. Every line you changed in the localization scripts would be empty again, and you’d have to redo the translation. Sure, I could handle the bulk of it quickly, but where a native speaker did the proofreading before, they’d have to do it all over again.
Now, are we finished? Nope. Next comes testing—because after all these changes, there’s a high chance that somewhere, in some line of code, a mistake slipped through. Tedious tasks always lower concentration. You’d have to replay the whole game a few times to make sure everything works.
Now we’re done? Only then! And you might say, “You should have added this from the start.” Maybe, but even then, it complicates the code and eats up resources for something we don’t consider a top priority—especially since it makes writing the script much more difficult and increases code complexity.
And just to clarify: I’m not only giving a detailed answer about the name issue—this is my general approach to all similar questions. I’m simply illustrating the principle behind how we decide whether it’s worth spending time on certain improvements.

I think the animations etc are fantastic but I dislike the personality of the husband of the main character. I think he comes across as really controlling one minute then too dismissive of his jealousy the next.

These “swings” in Tyler’s personality are intentional from a storytelling perspective. They create inner conflict and make him feel like a real, multidimensional character. If Tyler were always controlling or always indifferent, there’d be no tension or uncertainty for the heroine, and the story would quickly become dull.

If these guys are going to cheat on each other I want credible reasons for them to do that. These are not horny teenagers. If they reconcile later, it should be because they have honestly talked about the situation, why it happened, and how to be more satisfying emotionally to each other. You have made the point that nothing is lacking for them in the sex department. Love interests outside the marriage should at least be solid long-term affair candidates.

I agree completely. Credibility and strong motivation are essential for character development and relationship drama.

I haven't played any of your other games and, as of right now, I don't have any notable complaints. A minor one might be the way some of the characters act after certain events. The wife and husband seem to have made up a bit too easy for me after what happened with Jake (I think that's his name). But that's not a big gripe, just a minor one. The story is still in the early stages so I'm interested in seeing what options are available to further the storyline. Overall, I'm happy with what you're doing. Cheers to your efforts.

I agree—though unfortunately, we aren’t always free to fully develop every relationship due to pacing constraints. We have to balance between players who want things to move faster and those who think events develop too quickly.

As I've mentioned before, just stick to your vision and try not to please everyone. The only critique I can think of is I do not understand the point system. Do points in stamina, etc. make any difference? They seem more like placeholders for now. It seems rather unpolished at this stage. Now, if you have a grand vision and purpose for the points, cool, but maybe provide more detail in how they will work in the future.

For now, you don’t need to focus too much on the point system. If we decide to expand this gameplay mechanic, we’ll introduce it gently and gradually. For now, just enjoy the story!

I know you’re joking (as you also wrote in Discord)—but it’s worth saying for everyone: nobody makes games like that, and our story will always be character-driven.

I've seen the criticism of Tyler but I'm not sure it's entirely justified. It's not uncommon for a man to be controlling and, at the same time, try to act the 'modern man' who gives his wife the freedom she needs and deserves. Of course, he can be annoying, but without this, the story suffers—and there's no incentive for wifey to play away.

I agree—contradictions make characters interesting and give room for story development.

I'm also interested to see where the thing with Emma's boss goes too. I don't see him blackmailing or coercing her. I imagine him being a lot more subtle so that it ends up being her who makes the first move.

Blackmail is strictly forbidden on Patreon (and honestly, it was never planned)! Our intention is to keep the story nuanced and subtle—hopefully, we’ll pull it off.

Some of the animations are jarringly edited—it feels like slightly different angles have been stitched together. It's not a big deal but gives the game a slightly rougher feel.

Not sure what Emma’s actual job is. The talk with Tyler is about being an assistant manager, but if she’s only manning the phones and desk until a promotion, the actual job is receptionist. So I’m a bit confused.

Not sure if that’s exactly the case—if I recall, Tyler either didn’t fully know or deliberately told Emma something else, worried she might refuse. In reality, her position turned out to be lower than he described.
Comment:
The shower scene with Justin was a bit early in the game but I understand why it was done.

Exactly.
Comment:
I am a fan of free roam in games, though many others are not. Why was free roam chosen over choices at key moments? Could you add this mechanic from the start so players aren’t surprised after the prologue?
Developer’s Response:
We deliberately went with slow immersion—right now, there isn’t really an open world. Until there’s enough extra content, adding full free roam doesn’t make sense, and implementing such large-scale changes would be even harder than remaking the project from scratch.
Comment:
There needs to be more discussion between Tyler and Emma after the shower and bar events—it clears up too quickly.
Developer’s Response:
I’ve addressed this before, but I’ll say it again: We’re simply not always able to fully develop these relationships, due to pacing and content constraints.
Comment:
Tyler is inconsistent—should be either always controlling and jealous or anxious and insecure. Now he seems mixed.
Developer’s Response:
This inconsistency is intentional. Tyler is designed to be a real, nuanced person, not a stereotype. Real people experience mixed emotions, especially under pressure. One-dimensional characters get boring quickly, but contradictions make them interesting.
And don’t forget—the story itself needs space to breathe so that characters can evolve and change.
Comment:
The skirt lifting at the opening is over the top—no CEO would ask that, but I understand why you did this.
Developer’s Response:
Why not? Even aside from the erotic aspect, people sometimes do irrational things—even powerful people take risks for the thrill, as we’ve seen in real-world scandals. So yes, there are people who act unpredictably, regardless of consequences.
Comment:
1. When Viktor touches her—option to confront or not (would stop or continue the path).
2. Option to go or not go to the bar with Justin (asking to go home would stop the corruption path).
3. Option to tell the photographer whether oil is allowed or not.
Developer’s Response:
1. This is part of the main storyline and not a branch that can be stopped.
2. That option wasn’t implemented—mainly to save resources.
3. Again, saving resources.

I don’t like forced husband sex scenes, should be optional to skip it, but honestly I do like your game and think it’s very good.

Any scene can be skipped, but the story develops all the characters—that’s our goal for a holistic project.

The build-up between Liliana is being paced as it should, and the same with Samantha (though maybe she should push Tyler more). On the main character front, Emma, maybe a few more choices as someone else suggested.

There will be a slow corruption arc with Liliana; as for Samantha, I’m still considering which direction her story should take.

Tooltips are needed for the three circles on the right and for “Conditions.” Also, I find it odd that you sometimes switch between characters—I’d find it more immersive to only be Emma or Tyler.

We’d love to add tooltips but are limited technically. As for switching perspectives, we like our current narrative style, but of course, that’s a matter of taste!

So far, I have a very positive outlook on this project. The art is fantastic. The story is good, though a bit jumbled—perhaps due to the release schedule. I like that your Dom is a decent looking older gentleman and not an unattractive stereotype. A true Dom should be someone she wants to serve willingly, not by force.

Generally, I love this game. It feels like a breath of fresh air for the genre. First updates were very hot with lots of teasing, but excitement dropped a bit after that—though I understand the need for story progression.
Criticism:
1. The sandbox feels unnecessary; unclear what each choice does for stats.
2. There should be an explanation for the icons on the right.
3. In sandbox mode, there should be more guidance for story progression.
Developer’s Response:
The sandbox mode shouldn’t get in your way, since the story is still very linear. Tooltips are technically complicated; adding them would take too much time away from story content. The overall flow is linear—just follow the story!

Такие «качели» в характере Тайлера — это осознанный прием. Внутренние конфликты делают персонажа живым и многогранным. Если бы он всегда был только контролирующим или только равнодушным, история быстро бы наскучила.

Не играл в другие ваши игры, серьёзных претензий нет. Единственное — после некоторых событий муж и жена мирятся слишком быстро (например, после эпизода с Джейком, если не ошибаюсь). Но это мелочь, в целом доволен, сюжет только начинается.

Согласен, но, к сожалению, не всегда есть возможность подробно и медленно развивать отношения — приходится балансировать между теми, кто говорит, что «слишком медленно», и теми, кто считает, что «всё слишком быстро».

Тайлер слишком противоречивый: надо показать его либо всегда контролирующим и ревнивым, либо тревожным и неуверенным. Сейчас он какой-то промежуточный.

Это было сделано специально. Тайлер задуман как живой, неоднозначный человек. В реальной жизни мы часто сталкиваемся с противоречивыми чувствами, особенно под давлением обстоятельств. Одномерные герои быстро надоедают, а внутренние противоречия делают их интереснее.
И не забывайте — сюжету тоже нужно пространство, чтобы развивать и изменять персонажей.

Критика:
1. Свободное перемещение (sandbox) кажется ненужным; неясно, как выборы влияют на статы.
2. Нужно объяснение для иконок справа.
3. В режиме sandbox не хватает подсказок по продвижению истории.
Ответ разработчика:
Sandbox не должен мешать, так как повествование всё равно строго линейное. Подсказки технически сложно добавить — это займёт слишком много времени, лучше сосредоточиться на наполнении сюжета.
