An Important announcement, Please Read (and Comment)

So, this is going to be a bit of an odd post. And not gonna lie, I’m a little scared to post this here, but I don’t have any other choice.
First off, let’s get the smaller thing out of the way:
During the Month of April, I will be taking off from making patreon stuff (with some exceptions) – And there are a few reasons for this:
1) I am currently going through a bit of burn out at the moment, there are times where I don’t wanna draw, and that’s something that I don’t wanna fall into.
2) I need to catch up on a few commissions, a few patreon rewards, and a few other things and April is the best time for me to get that stuff ironed out.
3) I wanna work on my game project, and I need to have some time to do that. I’ve been wanting to make a game for a long time now, and I wanna really focus on that.
4) And this last reason… Well, I’ll get into that after I talk about something else.
So, I do wanna say that I’m scared about posting this – You guys have been very awesome to me, and the money that you give me has helped drastically over the few years, and I don’t wanna lose you guys.
If you guys want to lower your pledges during this time to a single dollar, I’ll understand (Save for the tier thirty and higher since your stuffs are considered commissions) just so you can keep viewing the content that I have on here.
And here goes into the fourth part.
I am changing up my patreon during April. The changes will be enacted for May afterwards.
This is to make sure that I don’t burn out, and that I wanna do better quality instead of quantity. I don’t feel like I’m challenging myself as an artist, I don’t feel like I’m doing the best work for you guys, so I want to be able to improve – I wanna do more and more amazing art for you guys to enjoy.
I’ll even list out the changes:
1 Dollar Tier – Access to the patreon exclusive art – Including commissions, updates on the game, and practice sketches. (in addition to making suggestions for the next two tiers)
5 Dollar Tier – Voting for a Flat Colored Sequence
10 Dollar Tier – Voting for a Full colored Pinup
15 dollar tier - Once a month lineart character per person in this tier.
30 Dollar Tier – Will remain the same.
50 Dollar Tier – Changed to a Monthly lineart comic (if multiple people are in this, I will switch between the users)
Note that this is something that I’m scared of posting. I don’t wanna lose you guys, especially you guys who have been with me for a long – But I need to consider my own limitations and how I want to improve myself as an artist.
So far I’ve been doing Quantity, but I wanna do quality.

NOTE: These new tiers are not set in stone, and for those who can tell, there's already a 15 dollar tier in this. It's possible that this will change as I fix up my patreon.

Pfft, don't worry about it mate, real life should always take priority and some months I don't make any pack-related suggestions so I ain't worried. As for the pricing, fifteen U.S. dollars for a sketch is still a pretty good deal.

*hug* Its okay, I understand(both as a fan and as one of the people who commissioned you) that you've been doing twenty things at once and need to take that long hot soak in relaxing water. so please, do not worry about me as I only want you to be okay and happy while having fun. so take as much time as you need. and as far as I'm concerned I'm getting an upgrade. I'll be wishing you to have a nice relaxing month and look forward to both iron out details and continue to support you, ya cool artist. :hug:

As far as taking a break is concerned, there's no need to worry about that. You do what you need to do for yourself. As for the changes, while a little saddening to see things like the art packs go, it's still understandable. Between the art packs and all the line art you were doing, it's no wonder you were getting burned out after a while. That said, moving towards quality over quantity is a respectable choice, and I'm still happy to keep supporting you.

I may be just a low tier supporter, but my dude, you gotta give yourself a break if you need to ^ ^; I support the lowest tier because I want to support you and wanted access, but don't make that much money ^ ^;;; If that ever changes, you'll probably see the result. At any rate, I really hope the new plan works out for you! It honestly doesn't sound like too bad of an idea anyway, at least to me. So I look forward to several more months where I still support you as much as I can uwu

Where? I just looked and the most recent thing related to commission info I could find was a special deal at the end of 2017.

Well, I'm sorry man. but, you can always commission me - I do plan on adding something else to one of the tiers on here for patreon so you can see something else when I get the new plan going. You might still be able to get your plan done

I not sure about the others cause i only support at the lowest tier as there is. but i happy you are willing to state your stats and know you need to break, it not easy with how some people expect the same things to but, evenm then like everyone else people need a break or just get over burn from do the same thing as well. i know alot people are going get upset but really do need to what you want for now even if bit selfish to others but like if drawing is not anything enjoable, do thier requets wouldnt make it any more better in the first place

I don't like the new plan, I always look forward to my monthly pic, and I had big future plans, including a birthday gift pic for a friend... And on top of that, no more art packs? This is terrible news for me, and frankly it also means the apparent final art pack is one I haven't got a single idea to contribute to... :c

Same, tbh, I don't like the idea of going from a personal pic of any character of my choosing each month and contributing to a monthly art pack to just voting on some nonspecific sequence and pinup that could both turn out to be of someone I don't care about... A break would be perfectly fine and understandable, but this is a bit too much... :c

This is honestly terrible news to me. The reason I have been a patron of yours for 2+ years now is because I’ve been guaranteed at least 1 pic a month of a favorite character, or at least on I have some interest in. Changing to voting for a single pic each month is a death blow to me, especially because most of my favorites aren’t the most prominent characters. I might try the new system for one month, but this will most likely drop me to a permanent $1 patron, if I even stay on. I might think about commissioning you once or twice, but I don’t think we’ve seen a price list for a while on DA. If you were just taking a month or two off, I’d be ok with that, but this overhaul doesn’t provide anything for me to look forward to.
