"Great hissing gusts of ill contained dimwitted hatred whistled out between the tusks of the ogre" That made me chuckle

yeah, if it can tp material that it was incontact with, several uses spring to mind. In any case, my head canon is they can't teleport living flesh (because still attached to the owner), but only spilled material that is not part of the body anymore.

I don't disagree with your points, except the third one, the adjectives each add a different nuance, I prefer the sentence containing more of them. It's not to the point it is confusing, it is still enhancing the visualisation and the feeling of the situation. And for the 2 other points, they might sligtly improve the narration, especially the 1st one, if none of the descriptors are lost (as established above), but, I would like to stress that fight scenes are one of the best qualities of this book, they are excellently described, believable, easily represented in the reader's mind with abundance of detail, never boring and only very mildly repetitive, what with the trope of Kaius needing to systematically get within a centimeter of death in every fight.

Bob Saget

Some feedback I've been meaning to articulate. Many scenes, especially fight scenes, have gotten repetitive. There's a few things to watch out for that can help with this. 1. More show, less tell. A small example, rather than, "Azure talons, extensions of his own iron-hard digging claws, thrust out - ready and willing to tear into the flesh of the giant." Something like, "Kaius tasted his [Porkchop's] fervor to rend flesh from the giant's bones, his hunger extending past his claws into deadly azure talons." Using more visceral imagery that comes more from Kaius's internal experience, rather than a more detached third person omniscient perspective (not that the original sentence is poor, it's just part of a larger trend). 2. A reduction on emphasis/repetition of previously established thoughts/characterization. From this chapter, "Nothing could compare to this, the sheer rush of staring death in the face and daring it to try harder. There was always something bigger, something more vicious, and something more deadly waiting over the next horizon. Kaius wasn’t going to stop until every last one fell before him, and he stood at the summit." This particular aspect of Kaius's personality is something all the readers are very familiar with at the point. Having it appear in the middle of the fight, when it brings nothing new, is distracting to the scene unfolding. The last two sentences especially read a bit too much like a thesis for someone in the midst of battle fugue. Something like, "Staring death in the face, that singular rush. His blood boiled, vibrating in defiance." and then leaving off the other two sentences for a later point in the story arc where contemplation of the far future is more appropriate. 3. Brevity is the soul of wit. While verbose prose can enhance a scene, it can also drown it in distractions. Compacting meaning often imparts a stronger impression. Despite the fact that adding many adjectives might seem to do it better. Example, "Great hissing gusts of ill contained dimwitted hatred whistled out between the tusks of the ogre." Is more impactful as, "Gusts of hatred whistled out the ogre's tusks." In its current form the 'gusts' have five modifiers (great, hissing, ill-contained, dimwitted, hatred). It's confusing. Describing it as 'gusts of hatred' feels more menacing and gets the point across. I don't mean for this criticism to come off as harsh. I think the story has a lot of potential, hence patreon. I felt the need to provide feedback when I found myself skimming at times despite really liking the characters and worldbuilding. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Likely a typo, I’ll check my spreadsheets when I get the opportunity to hop on my laptop

Thanks for the chapter!! widening the already viscous wound. -> vicious Kaius blurred, taking the opportunity to fall into a viscous stream of slashes, -> vicious On chapter 60, when aquired, True Sight was ranked as "Unusual" while at chapter 105 in the recap it was "Unique"

Porkchop should be behind the ogre currently so he shouldn't be able to make that

WickedlyDesigned

Why are the returning knives bloody? Blood is just extra weight for the enchantment to transport, and doing it without is just more practical all around. And whatever delineates what is going to get transported should be able to target just the knife itself, especially given the implications of it taking some of whatever material the blade is embedded in.

Apoca

I can see the cliche ending of this fight: Porkchop saves him, sacrificing himself :D (I don't that will happen just the cliff is perfect for that)
