Real life plagues us all. And that's one of the big reasons I try hard to ensure there's a free version of all my projects. So people who have no way to afford it can still enjoy the game, even if I try to create some perks for those who are able to pledge something. I hope your financial situation improves soon, I know all too well what its like to have a tight budget.

Heh, yes, the one game with a solid release schedule and constant progress reports is going to be abandoned. Not the dozens of others that are updated 3 or 4 times and promptly abandoned. There are so many games with so much potential that fall victim to that. I'm glad this isn't one of them (Btw, if I cancel my pledge in a month or so, it has nothing to do with any of this. It's a money thing)

In that case, thank you for the vote of confidence! It always fills me with a sense of wonder to discover that another creator, especially one who's work I am familiar with, enjoys my work. I stumbled across your game "Critical Hit" some time back enjoyed it a great deal. What was forwarded to me from Discord was a snippet from a conversation, so I guess I just grouped it with the people I've heard from recently who were in a panic/tizzy about the game nearing completion of the main storyline. Regardless, I felt it was past time to lay the future plans out in no uncertain terms. The universe is Lovecraft's own, and Wanton Cove is merely my little corner of it. For the time being, I see "Allure" as the centerpiece of a trilogy that given time I would like to see fully realized. However, you are right in that the setting has a lot of potential, and if interest among fans is high enough, I could easily see myself returning to the Cthulhu Mythos to tell additional tales.

Hi I'm following your patreon as a fellow developer, I was the one that was in that Discord Conversation and I just wanted to clarify that I used your project as an example of one of the good ones on tfgsite the only addium was that I expressed I was sad over this coming to an end somewhat as that was a post you made to some degree on here a few months ago or some such more so that you were trying to finish it. Whilst I guess returns to wanton cove or the story up to it could be cool I just think the universe style setting is more interesting then returning to the same location. But its always up to you as the developer to do what you want to do. My response on the tfg forums has only been positive. My conversation with x person wasn't short. I know you work on other things I played your game not long after it first came out and now 2 ish years later. It would feel like most people would want to finish up by now. I have next to no awareness of your circumstances and don't know if this is a full time commitment to you. I didn't exactly want a part of my comment to be quoted and what was asked of me was wherever I wanted a conversation or not. But also since reading this in my email this morning and knowing that I was the one mentioned I decided to come out here and say my thing.

Something to also keep in mind is GH's work on John Doe as a client in Therapist, John Doe speaks of their time in Wanton Cove and would not have been a client if not for My love of the game and its setting. They have storyboarded out 10+ weeks of content that touches upon the setting.
