What's happening on my front:
🕑 Added 2017-10-23 01:59:10 +0000 UTC Been an interesting couple of days. I had planned to do some work on Inheritance last night, but ended up burning my hand in the kitchen. Instead of actually writing, I instead started to convert one of the already written scenes into something that could be used within the game itself. Made just a little progress, but in my defense, typing one handed while the other is wrapped in an ice pack, DOES have a significant impact on the speed at which I can work. :P On the up side, other than one large blister on my thumb, most of it is only uncomfortable now instead of hurting outright. I'm sure it will feel a little better in the morning too.Tonight, instead of returning to the scene from yesterday, I instead opted to work on my notes related to the Cheat Menu that will be going into Inheritance. I think we've got a pretty good handle on what all needs to be done for it now.
Tomorrow, I expect to have 2-4 hours to work on Inheritance. I've made a goal for myself to get one more interactive scene into the game, maybe two. Once that is done, I'll be taking a look at the Cheat function and see if one of our coders can walk me through the setup for the three relationship stats at the very least.
Goal for this week will be to have either 3 interactive scenes and a functioning Cheat Menu (For at least the relationship stuff), or 5 interactive scenes ready for testing by the end of the week. Once I hit those goals, I'll be shifting my attention to whatever people want me to work on this week (Poll will be going up in a little while for Patrons.)

I've always heard to run it under cold water, so that's what I started with. After that, I've got these gel packs that can be warmed or chilled as desired. I keep them in the freezer to use as an ice pack. Don't know it it helps in the long run or not, but it did a nice job of keeping the pain at bay. :D

I'm no expert but I'm not sure ice is what you want, except maybe right away to get the extra heat out. Have someone take a look, worst that can happen is you'll be better equipped for next time ;)
