Inheritance Progress Report
🕑 Added 2017-11-10 20:34:02 +0000 UTC Got a sick kid today, so that's thrown a bit of a wrench into my plans for the day.I've been spending a little bit of time working on this off and on today, and hopefully I will get to work in it further this afternoon.
Started work on the punishments system, doing a bit of reorganizing on that front and preparing to code everything for use.
Got the initial set of eavesdropping content sorted last night, then did a bit of fine tuning to it.
I sent a message to our coders just a little bit ago. Right now, you can sleep anywhere in the house. I want to have that locked to the master bedroom for the moment. Once I know how that is done, I think we can get both the eavesdropping and punishment mechanics into the game pretty quickly.
If I hear back with a solution today, then I'll do my best to get a new test build ready for testers tonight. If not, then it will hopefully be up some time tomorrow instead.
Now, off to finish up the punishment stuff while we wait for help with the links. Odds are the fix will be something fairly quick and simple when it comes. ;)

Yeah, can really send well laid plans to hell. At least he's in bed for the night now, so odds are pretty good I'll have some time to actually play catch up now. :P Already told my wife that since today was a bust, I'll be spending at least part of tomorrow trying to make up for it. I hate that too, which is why I make an effort to keep everyone updated as best I can. Everyone, especially my Patrons, have a right to know what I'm working on, and if something doesn't go to plan, then they deserve an explanation. Besides, its a great motivational tool. After all, if I'm going to post regularly, then I need to work on something so I have something worth posting! :P

Getting sick sucks. Get better and don't kill yourself. Also, thanks for keeping us so updated on everything. I hate it when devs go silent (thinking of too many early access games on steam that I'm pretty sure will never be finished. Luckily, very few were bought by me as I've gotten paranoid about buying early access unless I actually like the current state the game is in).
