The Allure of Wanton Cove 1.0 Patreon Build
🕑 Added 2018-01-19 21:47:15 +0000 UTC Its been a very long road these last three years (Actually, its been a little more than that now) and it has been a true joy to have all of you along for the journey.Wanton Cove started with a simple conversation. I asked what people would like to see for a game from me, and an erotic horror game came up in conversation. At the time, I thought to myself, "Eh, why not?" and in the coming days the setting took form and increasingly became an obsession that demanded its tale be told. What I bring to all of you today is not the end, but AN end. Wanton Cove was never intended to be a single linear story, it was intended to be a tangled web of intrigue. The ending(s) presented in this release are the conclusion to the primary story through the game, but there are still other mysteries to explore in this setting, and today we mark a significant milestone in a longer road.
Thank you to each and every one of you. For your support, your encouragement, your bug reports, and everything else. The Allure of Wanton Cove would not be what it is today without all of you.

-Wrote the "Cathedral" segment for the primary game ending.
-Wrote the "Other World" entry for primary game ending.

From what I understand, browser based would be the easy way to handle it. I eventually want to create my own website for that kind of thing but its one of those things where something else always seems to take precedence.

Im playing it on my android phone, There are other creator like "fenoxo fen fen" who also make txt games, also if there was a browser based patreon version that might work to

Honestly, I wouldn't even know where to start to get it done. I've heard of people being able to play the game on their phones, but I've also had a few people send messages like yours. Trying to learn a bit about how to format for andriod is on my list of things to do eventually, but its not high on the priority list. That said, if someone knows something about the subject and would be willing to spend time time working with me, I could likely move it up on the priority list.

Glad you enjoyed it! Got to take care of those treasured orbs. Don't overwork them. Azumi's tale is the next we will be exploring. :D Should start pushing home just how screwed up some of the relationships on the island really are, . . . .

Ahh fantastic! Truly great! I'd pay gladly if there'll be a sequel. As it turns out I've got the 'beginning of the end' ;) Still curious about Azumi's mother so I can give it a reroll again soon. (after my balls have restocked)

That was the goal. Right from the start, I had wanted to stay true to the overall feel of the Mythos Lovecraft had created.

No need to worry, if you think about the revelations made in the last scene (with the cops) then there is the potential for some real horror. ....i might be over thinking it though and looking a bit to far 'beneath the beneath'. Seriously though, i was HORRIFIED at some of the implications. (Especially if you play it straight/Lovecraftian with 'magic' not actually existing, just insanity)

And here I was worried that the endings weren't horrible enough, . . . As for additional endings, some of the side stories have the potential to create additional endings to the game, . . . we'll just have to see how it all comes together. ;)

That is actually a very difficult question to answer since there is no clear yes/no to it. There are several endings where she has not been born into our world but whether or not it may still happen, . . .

Just wondering, but is there a 'good' ending? ie 'she' isn't reborn and we escape?
