Inheritance Progress Report
🕑 Added 2018-08-14 05:11:04 +0000 UTC Got to looking and realized that it's been a couple of days since I posted a progress report again. Shame on me.
Even so, we have a great start on what I have planned for this week.
My goal for this week: Write and add the sponsored scene to the game. Fix all the little stuff that's been reported over the last couple of weeks. Write at least one of the Dungeon functions and the first lot of content for it.
What we've got for the next build already:
-About 1.5k words of Conversation related content for Mitsuko.
-Worked through a small mountain of spelling errors and improvements for the game.
-About 3.5k words written and mostly coded for the sponsored scene. I'm guessing this one is going to be somewhere between 5-6k in total.
-Had someone volunteer to help put a bit of polish on the game by finding all the spots where scenes lack an exit and is giving me the locations. I shared the source files with them, so they've been able to tell me scene and line number of the scene so it's actually going much quicker than I would have expected.
-Received some WIP art for the Ball Room. It's gorgeous.
What to expect this week: Wife works every day through Thursday this week, and works the day shift. This means my work time is going to be a little limited through much of the week. That said, I'm going to be hard at work putting together small bits of content this week, then on Friday I'll kick my tail into high gear and try to get something worthwhile done.
Saturday and Sunday, I promised my wife we'd do the family thing this weekend, so we're going to visit the in-laws
-Friday will see the next release of The Allure of Wanton Cove. Got gobs of gooey goodness coming your way.
Short version: Off to a good start this week, the rest of the week might be a bit hit and miss.

That it is. Love spending time with my kids and wife. My family I enjoy spending time with in moderation, and the inlaws, . . . . with a bit more moderation. :D

Family first, and friends are just family that you choose. In laws, . . . after being married for about 15 years, I'm still not sure where they fall on that scale. :P
