Inheritance: Weekly Recap.
🕑 Added 2019-02-18 16:34:51 +0000 UTCYou can hear the loud footsteps coming down the hall even before you see her. When you do, you're surprised to see Eve making so much noise.
Every footfall is slammed against the floor for maximum effect. Her arms are crossed over her small chest and an angry scowl seems etched across her face.
You can see as much as hear her take a deep breath before letting it out in a huff that borders on a growl.
Her eyes meet yours, holding your gaze for several seconds before she speaks, "Master was mean to me this week," She states flatly, "And now he wants me to come tell all of you about it," She sticks her nose in the air, looking almost comical in doing so.
"I've always wanted our new Master to treat me like a woman, to treat me like he would treat any other slave he owns," She huffs again, as if that somehow emphasizes her point, "I've changed my mind."
Another huff, this time followed by a heavy sigh as she lets her arms fall to her sides. She seems to realize that she's going to have to explain what all happened.
"So, you know how my master has that room down in the basement? The one with all the sex toys and stuff?" She bites her lip, looking a little self conscious all of a sudden, "Well, master took me into that room. I was so excited, I thought it was going to be something special, something that would make me feel more like an adult instead of like the kid I look like."
Her scowl deepens and she stomps the floor with her foot, "Well, it didn't, it hurt, and I didn't like it!"
With narrow eyes, she lets her gaze slide to the side, looking at someone just outside your field of vision. She forces a smile onto her face, a smile so fake it looks like it belongs on a clown, "Misaki, the new girl," Every word that leaves her mouth has that sing-song quality that sounds snobbish, "It turns out that she has a little music player, wonder where she hides that, and was listening to it when master saw her. It was a little funny when she jumped because she didn't hear him coming, and then she gave him a blowjob," She rolls her eyes, her voice taking on a slightly higher pitch, "She's actually pretty good at it."
Quickly changing the topic, she forges forward quickly, her tone and pace suggesting that she just wants to get this over with, "Rey has been sticking to himself lately, but I saw him working in the greenhouse the other day.
"I saw Master spank Mitsuko in one of the guest rooms. It was weird, you'd think spankings hurt, but she smiled. How weird is that?" Her bewildered expression darkens once more when she looks to the side again.
"Bubbles has been spending some time in the library, apparently she wants to learn about anatomy. Maybe next time Master wants to take me to the dungeon, I'll send Bubbles in my place," She lets out a humorless laugh, "See if he's so brave as to hit a girl when he knows she can snap him like a twig," She makes a cracking sound, her face contorting comically as she does so.
"ANNA!" She shouts suddenly, "Master was watching you laying on the bed naked the other day! He was totally perving on you!"
She grimaces, "Who am I kidding, we all know she likes it."
"And a couple of nights ago, my sister stole a bottle of something from the wine cellar," You can feel the snark building in her, her body language becoming exaggerated as she speaks, "She went all 'Cute drunk' on Master," She growls under her breath, "My sister steals alcohol and she gets laid, me, I do nothing wrong AND HE BEATS ME WITH A WHIP!"
The anger in her expression sobers suddenly when she glances to the side again, "I, uh," Then clearly addressing whoever she's been looking at, "Maybe I could have phrased some of that better?" She takes a slow step away from whoever it is, glances at the exit on the other side of the room, then takes a less subtle second step.
Her eyes widen, "You won't take me alive!" The second the words leave her mouth, she shrieks and takes off at a full run. She's barely out of sight before the maniacal sounds of her giggles begin to fill the hallways.

Ironically, most of the ones I help out subscribe to my page already, usually at higher pledge levels. Many of them also reach out to me when they know something useful, like find a new site or artist that could be useful to me. So I have some misgivings on that front. I already feel like they pay me back in a way just through the sharing of useful information. I make enough right now to pay the bills with just a little bit to spare. I love the idea of having more money to put back into my projects, but at the same time I'm not greedy. Thank you for the suggestion, but the more I think about it, the more I feel that earning money that way isn't right for me. I usually end up helping people who's projects I enjoy playing, they often find ways to repay me either through sharing useful ideas or other information with me, and a few of them I even consider friends. I just wouldn't feel right asking for money from people who have been nothing but kind and generous in return for my help. All of that said, maybe the next time someone comes looking for help, I could hint that I'd appreciate their pledge for a while. ;)

You could make deals with the ones you are instructing/teaching, the ones you are talking about. Deals like (and this is just an example) when you hit X mark Patreon income, like 1000$ or 2000$, I'll take an Y% cut for K months, like 10 % cut for 3 months. That way your risk is high, and therefore you can take a bit more revenue. For those you are talking to, they have their risk reversed, they have a low risk of wasting money and need only pay if the information proves useful, when that time comes though they need to cough up a bit more, that's only fair. Think about it like that, and you just fill out the numbers as you want or perceive as fair :)

btw, perhaps as a source for secondary income, you really ought to start a course covering how to communicate and keep your patrons informed! Think it over, the way you do it is exemplary, why not make money off it!

These changelogs really are fantastic! I mean it litterary, how many of these types of changelogs do you encounter? They are as rare as pegasi, or a cyclops... hell, even unicorn! :D
