I first realized I was gay my senior year of high school in the late 1960s. The innocent feelings of love and having a crush on someone special thaI see expressed in this story are so true to what I was experiencing at boarding school and college, although there was no outlet back then with whom to reciprocate. It's very touching, and I'm so glad that young people today have these kinds of "experience models" that they may be able to relate to - it's not all about sex, it's about love and caring, too.
