This is definitely a BL that's more for the adults. Very mature themes and conversations that most of the younger audience probably aren't at a point in their lives to appreciate yet.

I am so glad that you like the series because many people are saying how boring it is because of all these conversations. Personally that's the thing I love about this BL, these conversations are so meaningful and give the feeling as if we are watching a play, as you said. The scenery is so amazing and the actors are doing phenomenal job.
