You are correct! Also I feel like Tyme took the money because he didn't think much of them going after his grandma even after Great asked him but once he seen they came to their home, he realized the gravity of the situation & the lengths they were willing to go to. Which makes me believe that he was trying to do his best for Nan by telling her he wanted to stop so that if she did listen, she could put the blame on him instead of blaming herself if she had actually stopped.

this episode stressed me out lol, it was a lot but soo good. the distorted way that they decided to shoot remind me of the Sabrina show. btw the woman who paid the shooter is the one that great ran over in the first episode right?! or i am tripping?
