Watching this back right now, I didn't realize that they've planted so much important seeds here in this episode that will become very important in later episodes: Peem's grandpa mentioning Kasem, Khem's vision of Ramphueng, Grandma Si's surprising knowledge about Ramphueng... Kudos to the writers!!!

I just have this feeling that the curse that killed Master's mom has something to do with Ramphueng. I think back in episode 2, Ramphueng mentioned that Master's grandfather tried to break her curse but failed to do so. Maybe that is the curse that backfired to his mom. That and also grandpa is hellbent at the start on Peem not meddling with dark magic and Khem's karma.

Master could date and stuff (if he wanted - just should not interfere with his devotion to work) - shaman does not mean monk. Don't forget his late grandfather was shaman, too, and he was not just gradfather by name but by blood.
