🕑 Added 2021-01-21 15:46:13 +0000 UTCSaturday I woke up feeling terribly sick (Friday I had felt totally fine) ... I went and got tested and the results came back positive for Covid. I had a fever straight through Tuesday, chills, aches, a cough, but I guess over all mild for me considering. In the past 10 days before testing positive I only left my apt to walk the dog, to go to my doctor and to go to a chiropractor... but took the subway to get to those, so had to guess when I could have been exposed but it could happen anywhere. Possibly en route home from California (but that was over 12 days before I got my symptoms so may be unlikely) —but who knows. I felt like I’ve always been cautious wearing masks/washing hands etc but it seems like more people I know are testing pos lately.
Luckily I have had my little hairy nurse, Jake, taking care of me. I do feel much better today than I did over the weekend so I’m definitely on the mend. Yesterday I did loose my sense of smell which is very odd, but I guess was expected. Just a reminder to be safe and take care of yourselves and each other.
