I cracked up over the Cedar Point commentary. I grew up in Milan - teeny tiny village south of Sandusky and about 15 minutes away from CP. I think there’s a level of craziness that comes with the territory. It’s so crowded to begin with (unless you go at the very beginning or very end of the season) that you have to be crazy just to put up with the crowds and lines, etc. Then there is the crazy stuff that happens in general because people are acting dumb and doing dumb things. I didn’t go much, but was amongst those that tended to stay away from Sandusky during the season because it was just so busy, but put in two seasons working the park - which was more than enough for my introverted self.

This was a great episode! I'm a mom of 4 boys (10, 6, 6 & 2). Two things came to mind while I was listening. First, a general observation (especially with the twins)-- Not all kids are created equal! One of my twins holds on to EVERYTHING and has a hard time donating. My other kids, have no problem doing so, and are completely unaffected. My second thought was a suggestion that came to mind --- For toys, I have 6 "busy boxes". I take out a box when my kids (usually my youngest) needs a distraction while I'm cooking dinner, or on a call, etc. The boxes are small, and contain about 5 toys. But the rotation keeps them exciting and new-- and every time a new items comes in the house I replace it with an unused toy, so the boxes are forever changing. I hope to have 0 of them, in the next year or so ;-)
