Dragontrainer poppy wip (please end me)

In my head i was hoping to make this piece as close to League of Legends Splash Arts style as possible, but after a lot of nervous headbashing i decided on a lot more cartoony style which i feel a lot more familiar with, but i'll do my best to flex my art muscle as hard as i can to make this as pretty as i possibly can. I'm not even done with characters yet and grim realization that i'll have to draw a background slowly begins to fall upon me. I almost never draw backgrounds ( I really should start training them a bit ) so i'm starting to stress how i'll handle all that space around character. I'm sorry this project is taking so long but i'm learning a lot along the way. At the start i was hoping i would be able to animate it like LoL splash arts, but at this point i'm not sure if i'll be able to.
After i finish with this project next one in line was first major comic featuring one of my goblins, but i'm afraid comic will have to wait a bit as i returned to college after winter break and i have to really, REALLY focus on my bachelor project for college.
Thank you all for patience, and have a great day!

Yeah there is so much more depth and tricks. And a ton of other things I don't understand/know about. You did pretty damn great

Because past me was like "Yeah! I'll totally be able to replicate an art style of professional illustrators which work for a huge gaming corporation. pshhh, no biggie". Calculations can't be off if you don't do any.
