I actually feel there was a lot to this podcast, or perhaps I drifted off somewhere on my drive, but I remember 3 different parts or maybe I missed the point. Regardless, I appreciated the discussion about obligation and how we can view things differently, or continue to attempt to return back to a more relaxed state of simply letting someone or something be, even if it's different than how we normally respond. We could all do with far more peace in our lives. The discussion over language was difficult to listen to, but as someone who values communication over sticking your head in the sand/ignoring when things are tough, it was somehow refreshing to hear how you can come out of the other side and still be friends...I would have felt uncomfortable, but hopefully learned something (if only to sit with the discomfort) Lastly I'm with Ryan in regards to hoping Joshua has better health(forgive me forgetting the exact sentiment) but that you can always wish people well particularly those who you care about and love but not fully take on the burden. Sometimes we also need people need a hard talk and someone to put their foot down for the greater good with some health issues. Others will enable behaviours...but both come from a place of love but handle it completely differently. I also wouldn't stop being a Patron over one episode, your discussions are always enlightening! (I haven't listened to music for around 5 months via this and other podcasts...I'm almost up to date!)
